At five books, that was the longest trilogy I ever read. Good though...I like his writing style.

I think Mostly Harmless was the sixth book.

Anyway, get yourself a copy of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and the sequel The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul, also by Doug Adams. Its better than the Hitchhiker's Guide books.

There are only five that I'm aware of:
Hitchiker's Guide to The Galaxy
Restaurant at the End of the Universe
Life, the Universe, and Everything
So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish
Mostly Harmless

Am I missing one? Oddly enough, I haven't got around to reading the Dirk Gently books. I will have to do that soon.

There's a short story about Zaphod Beeblebrox that came with the anthology collection... I forgot it's name though...

Douglas Adams was working on a 6th book when he passes away though... I forgot the title to that too, but I remember the word "Salmon" in it

Now try finishing the Hitchhiker's guide game, its a tough one. You can go to Douglas Adam's website and play it.
