ok i took the power wire and put it to the remote prong on the amp and it sparked......but the remote one doesnt......
No!!!!!!!!!!! Don't do that. Do like WiLL and I said, leave the power lead connected and run a jumper from the power terminal to the remote terminal, if ur amp powers up then it's ur remote lead that is the problem. If it doesn't power up, check the voltage at the power and ground terminal on the amp to make sure ur getting voltage, if your getting 12-13 volts like you should then it's an amp problem, check the fuse(s) on the amp, if that doesn't solve it then :dunno:
ok i did that connection stuff and the amp did come on.......
so it must be the remote wire right?
yep, it's prolly not connected right on the harness, that'd be my guess. The wire could be broken as well, but I'd put my money on the fact that you have it hooked up wrong.
