Default Kerry/Edwards......your opinion?

He announced it at a rally here in the burgh....I'm sort of sad I didn't go, it would have been nice to be a part of that.

Anyway, I was really hoping for Edwards, so I'm happy with his choice. I wanted him to win the primary because out of all of the candidates, he seems to have the most energy and appears to actually be genuine. I also like that he is more of a moderate democrat than kerry. He falls towards the middle, and appeals to a larger number of people.

I was hoping for McCain instead but I don't think Edwards is a bad choice at all since he is much more the moderate than Kerry is or McCain has been.

It will be an interesting run for sure this year.

My only major problem with Edwards as Kerrys running mate is that Edwards is much more ambitious than Kerry and much more charismatic. If anything this will be a plus to Kerrys campaign though whether or not his voting history will be a big plus is to be seen.

Other than being there to take the place of the president... what's the job of the VP? What... does he DO for us?

I remember when he first ran for public office here in NC. If memory serves me right, he came out of Concord, NC. My memory hasn't been serving me to well though lately, so I may be wrong. :happysad:

I don't understand why McCain would run w/ Kerry, seeing as how McCain is a republican.

However, if McCain ran for president I would vote for him in a heartbeat. I have a lot of respect for that guy.
