try macromedia fireworks? it's not mainly for web sites, but it's fairly simple to create a good looking site with it.

i just finished downloading fireworks...i think i will start using that (or try to at least).

i use editpad pro, which is a more robust notepad. tabbed windows, syntax highlighting, search and replace. i love it. if i forget code, i use google.

Its a development environment that recognizes a bunch of different languages and its written in Java, so it'll run on almost any computer. One of the best features is the automatic formatting, which is good for people who are too lazy to do it themselves, like me. :P
