heh.. most game dev projects either never make it to release, or tank once they hit the market. it's probably one of the shittier fields to work in. this doesn't necessarily apply to consoles as i know they work differently (projects-wise, not development-wise), but i'm sure it's pretty damn hard to get in developing for nintendo, sony, etc.

also, given the competitive nature of programming, and given that it seems every other person is in it now, it's not as easy as you might expect to find good work.

my b then, but it seems like a cool job creating hard core computer games.
