i have an accord so its a bit different, either way i wouldnt pay for labor.

Did you model your custom bracket after an aftermarket one, or did you just throw something together.
As for labor, if I was having somebody else already do something on my car, I'd go ahead and have them install my shifter too. But it's really easy to do.

nah. 2 of my buddies have b&m and i like the way it feels. one is a stcck EX and the other is a gsr hatch... feels yummy. h:

i have always had a soft spot for 88-91 preludes because the stock shifter feels as if it is in a little box.. that is the way the b&m feels to me... hence why i want one... :exnbp:

this DIY is pretty popular for cb7, either this or paying 100+ for a 4bidden short shifter.

I've been making Short shifters for the preludes and it isn't rocket science. it's a basic lever, all you're doing is increasing the distance between the cable/rod attachment and the fulcrum. then make sure there's enough clearance for the extra length.

If you like the stock 3g lude shifter, you should try my short shifter

not a bad cheap homemade adapter, but I actually weld my parts. makes it a bit more solid. (Pete, that is an apdapter to move the cable attachment, not just a cut lever. Edit: you edited your post, so I guess you realized h: )
