no. there is a service called Messenger. it's so you can do net sends. i dont know if they still do, but for a while, they were spamming using that service.

turn off messenger

go to system/advanced/performance settings, click "adjust for best performance" click apply
go to advanced
click "change" under virtual memory, make the high and the low double your physical ram

i turn off automatic updates, error reporting, event log, fast user switching, help and support, indexing service, messenger, themes & wireless zero

 

so say i have 256 ram
make the high and the low 512?

can i get rid of these?
