I never thought about leasing a car before but recently looked into it. There is a G35 coupe i'm interested in, it's 10k down and $560 a month (Canadian, please no current exchange jokes, very old...it's at mid 0.70s) for three years. Buyback is $21k.

Lease interest rate is 6.3% compared to finance's 8.15%. I think it's within my own meager budget. h:

Will the G35 still be a new car in 3 years, or will Nissan have a replacement? I think the car just came out in late 02' or early 03' right?

Car is 04' G35 w/sports package, no nav. I heard Infiniti is revising the 05, but meh, 04 is good enough at that rate.

Anyone lease a car before?

pros: you get a nice car to drive around.

cons: you dun get to keep or mod it.

you can do whatever you want. but if you plan on turning it in at the end then you have to be able to turn it back to stock.

or they (dealer) will charge you a pretty Tunie to change it back to stock for you.

also never lease a car with any money down. that's just up front money down the drain.

You can but I'd return it to stock before the lease ends or if you don't plan on buying it.

You'll get raped in the wallet if you don't.

the coupe came out in late '02. the next major redesign is rumored to be in 2007.

Only thing about the G35 I don't like is the lack of headroom.

My hair always brushes up against the headliner.
