that stuff sucks too, but still takes more talent than to say "I'm a stunta" to a beat.

lol I'm not just talking about "just rapping"...I'm talking about content of lyrics too. But I guess the most important thing in life is ****ing hoes, slangin' rock, and buyin' chrome 24"s for the escalade, right?

i guess if that is the kind of hip-hop/rap you listen to.... it is....

i dont listen to it for the lyrics, i could give a shit... im a skinny white kid from a white town, you think i can relate to that stuff? i listen to it cuz i like the beats, and its nice to have a genre of music that has some competition within itself, keeps things moving.... plus a lot of what i hear is actually about life and important stuff - if you listened beyond singles, you'd hear that stuff, too.... unfortunately the rims, hennessy, blunts, hoes, throwback gear, and jewelry is what sells the cds.... and rappers dont try to hide behind the fact that they like the fame and money and glory - unlike rock musicians.... if you dont like it, i dont care but i didnt start this thread to ask people what they think of rap or hip hop or any of that..... i only wanted to know if anybody bought the cd... it appears as if nobody did....
