bleh see?? trying to pick on the n00b... shame on you!
just a little common sense.. is water in your gas good? no, it's not... where does combustion take place? the cylinder ...is water combustible under normal circumstances? nope.. water in the cylinders is bad

yea... I thought maybe water had something to do with the leakdown test
do it yourself . a compression test gauge is only $15. you normally crank the motor 7-10 times, or until the needle on the gauge stops moving. it's also a good idea to disable fuel before doing the test.
leakdown has nothing to do with water
WATER RUINS YOUR ENGINE!
leakdown is getting it to the top of the compression stroke I believe and seeing how fast it loses pressure.
There is a wet test which you put in a squirt of oil into the cylinder. This acts as a seal to help isolate piston rings as a problem. The oil will create a seal and simulate good piston rings. If you still have crappy compression than it is most likely your valve seals because the oil seals and does the job of the piston rings. That helps to figure out if low compression is bad rings or valve seals.
