I think the main reason they did that was becasue nadar wanted to run and campaign in states that were critical to the election and possbly take votes away from Kerry like he did 4 yrs ago from Gore. THe other guy said he would campaign in states that were not critital and that he would tell green party members to vote for kerry in states that were unsure so to throw the vote to kerry and get bush out of there.

Eh, Green Party is a joke.
They can't even get the 4% of the vote in the presidential election required to receive matching Federal funding and now Nader is still going to try to run as an independent so they'll split the few votes they have. What a jackass. Nader doesn't give two sh!ts about anyone but himself and his image.
