I don't use AIM. I just use the default texting system and I send to the phone number I want.

yea but what i'm trying to do is send a IM to a cell phone but not to a sc name on a cell phone, the sc name would be the number but i'm not sure if it works. Because with att i can send a IM through AIM and the cell phone will receive it as a text, and the sc name on AIM will be +19092345678 get it? heh someone with T-mobile try it and see if it works.

go to www.tmobile.com and look for their messaging services page. there's a place where you can type in your name, the number, the subject and the message and it goes straight to that persons phone. while you're there, you might want to look for that info about how to get aim to send txt's. its something like +12225554444
