Lancer???

I was driving by my house today, and I saw this guy driving what appeared to be a mid nineties Lancer GLXi wagon. :thinking: I didn't know what the hell it was because I know Mitsu just brought the Lancer over here 2 years ago. It looked like this:

The car was LHD. Where the heck do you guys think he got it from? South America maybe??

There was also a Chrysler or Dodge car named Lancer in the late 80's

I think it's actually a mitsu mirage 4dr wagon?

I know the mirage was named lancer in japan... I'm almost sure. Asiandoood would know for sure

It specifically said on the back "Mitsubishi Lancer GLXI." I looked it up online, and from what I could see, it was (and still is) sold in Austrailia, parts of South America, and I'm sure Japan. I'm just wondering how it got over here...especially a LHD version.
