Thinking of getting a pet...
I'm thinking of getting a pet for myself, just for something I can do. I was thinking of getting a Tarantula, anybody have one as a pet? If so what kind of work do they need and how much attention do they need? I'm really not a big fan of spiders but maybe this one will cure my fear, I've actually kind of liked tarantula's but I need to do more research on them first. Or I was thinking of getting a snake, my friends hate snakes, I think I'm the only one that likes them.
So what kind of odd pets do you have? Yes I have a cat and I would be keeping my door closed.

they like to be pet all the time. and they like it if you tickle their chins

seriously...if you want a pet so you can have "something to do", get a pet that you can play with, not just one you keep behind glass.

if you get a tarantula, get the bird eating goliath.
it eats mice.
i have an iguana, 2 snakes, and a dog. most reptiles need heat to survive, and a cage big enough for them to grow.

jeesus the bird eating goliath sounds huge and poisonus (sp). I'm going to do some more reseach in the next week or two on this and read more into it. But damn it eats mice? That would be cool as hell to see. I'm actually thinking of possibly getting a snake just to freak my friends out... Snakes rule.

it's not poisonous but it has 2 inch fangs.
Snakes are fun, especially around feeding time. I have a Ball Python thats about 2 years old and is about 4 feet long. I also have 2 chameleons but they are hard to take care of. If you want a good pet you can play with and shit, you may want to get some kind of bird, they have great personalities.
