So my buddy kyle and I were on our way to visit a friend in Erie Pa for a graduation party. Just as we were leaving I-79 and entering I-90 I saw a M3 with a ton of stickers on it. I was like "whoa gumball rally ish right there" and kyle was like "hah yeah"

So we keep driving and about 10 minutes later we see a bright red nsx go by with a shit load of stickers on it too. After we saw that we were still skeptical about if it was really the gumball rally or not. So kyle was we should turn around. I was like well if we see anything else we will. So we kept driving and we saw nothing. We thought we caught the tail end of the gumball so were were pretty pissed.

And then we see a puke green Lamborghini anlong with a pack of 4 other <A TITLE="Click for more information about car" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||cars|AA1VDw">car</A>s. This group consisted of a Lamborghini Diablo, Lamborghini Mercilalgo (sp?) Porsche 911 twin turbo, and a NSX.

I about nutted all over the place. So kyles was like dude you gotta turn around. So at the next turn around we did just that and waited. We were waiting on a 100 yard straightaway before a huge turn. So were were just sitting on the shoulder waiting. We kept waiting and waiting and nothing came by. I was starting to get disappointed but i knew there had to be something coming. So I just sat in the car while kyle was outside on the lookout. I was looking in my rear view mirrow just watching cars take the turn and just praying something would come. So about 100 yards away I spotted a car which had potential to be a sicko. So i was like kyle check that car out and tell me what it is. I see him squint his eyes and start running to the car as fast as he could.

And all I heard him scream was F 40!!. So kyle got into the car and I tried my best to catch him. This time there was a group of 3 cars. Ferrari F40, Porsche 911 gt2 , and some misc benz. After about 5 minutes of trying to catch them we finally did. I couldent believe I was running right next to a Ferrari F40. So the driver looks over at me and I give him the thumbs up. He smiled and gave me one back also. I felt soooooooooo sweet. Now the chick in the passenger seat could of been teh hottest girl ever. So I got a double boner. Now I dont know too much about the F40 But i noticed it had a ton of mechanical stuff right behind the seats. They looked like bottles and tubes and ish.

The F40 was in the lead with the GT2 in second and the benz in 3rd. So I saw the GT2 slow down a little, and I knew this was were I had to make my move. Kyle was like you gotta get in there!! So I downshifted into 4th and there I was sitting inbetween a Ferrari F40 and a Porsche GT2. With a Ferrari F-40 only feet in front of us, and a Porsche GT2 behind us, we knew that being between two of the fastest and most exotic cars ever made, denoted us the two awesomest people in the world... h: . So I rode along with these guys for about 15 minutes. I had a smile from ear to ear that wasnt going away. We went under a short tunnel and the exhaust sound that came from his car was music to my ears. Could of been the best day ever

I don't believe it was the real deal. A quick look on their site reveals the 2004 edition did indeed take place in Europe last month, beginning at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and ending at Cannes, France.

I remember because I saw something about Adrian Brodey competing in it this year.

 

I wonder what it could of been then?

 

I'd rather drive on of those cars than run next to them on the highway.
