camera peeps check in
hey guys....I havent been on too much latley due to working in the summer (13 hour days)
But anyways instead of putting money into my car, i was thinking about buying a digital camera so I can take nice quality pictures. I dont know too much about digital camera's but learning.
Im a beginner to all the different settings and ish with the camera but as long as i can play with it a little i think i will be fine.
All you guys rave about the canon a80, is that a descent one for me?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

A80 is a great in between camera. (in between a point and shoot and more involved slr type digital cameras. I love mine and am happy I went with this camera. it's the perfect size not to big... not to small and it takes some really nice pics. I love messing with all the settings. Check the link in my sig and there are some examples of pics taken by my A80 (except for the pics of my car and cousins car).

I used to think digital was the way to go. Found out my old Canon AE-1 35mm that was left to me in my fathers estate takes much better pictures then my Sony Digi 4.2 MP ever did. I just two weeks ago bought a EOS Canon Elan 35mm and the pictures it takes are the shit and it a little faster to use. If your going to go digi and are want to do more then point and shoot digi SLR is the only thing to buy.
