Default Am I crazy to think about doing this?

An idea popped into my head today. It was for me to sell my GSR before I spent any major money on mods. I would save that money i was going to use to mod it as well as put the money that I got from the GSR into some type of investment. Then I would go and lease an SRT-4. The payments would be somewhere in the $350-380 range.

What do you think of this idea? Pro's? Con's?

Smells like you're hungry for power, right?

SRT-4 is an amazing machine. It's ugly but she's got a big whoomping stick.

dont lease it man...it'll only end up gettin u :idb: later...

see if you can trade in or sel your GSR, then use that as a payment for an SRT4, and get the lowest payments as possible...i mean, i cant speak of leasing from experience, but from what many have told me, its no good on certain vehicles, and the dodge would apply as one of those...

good luck B, do what you want, do what makes you happy...

Lease + Neon = :slap:

Why seriously would you lease a neon? I like the SR-T but to lease one seems like possibly the single biggest waste of money ever. Buy it if you want it bu tdo not lease it or you will be hating the fact you really can't mod it how you want.

there are a few reasons I would want to lease it.

1. Take all the money from the sale of my GSR and invest it.
2. Lease payments are lower than finace payments.
3. You have a car for a few years and then get rid of it (no dealing with
a car with no warranty)
4. If it is leased then I won't be tempted to spend the money I am
saving and then go and waste it by modding it
5. Don't have to worry about the car lasting me a long time, just lasting me
the lease period.

If I made this move, I would not be buying it, I would lease this only . That is if I went for it. This move would not make sence financially if i did that to save money.

I understand that but I still don't see it being a good idea.

Just out of curiousity how many miles average do you log a year?
reason I ask is because with a lease vehicle you are limited to a certain number of miles during your lease and after the lease is over they stab you for anything over the agreement.
