... THREAT OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE HAIL THIS AFTERNOON...

AN LOW PRESSURE TROUGH APPROACHING THE AREA WITH SOME UPPER ATMOSPHERIC SUPPORT WILL TRIGGER SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON OVER EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, THE EXTREME NORTHERN DELMARVA AND PARTS OF NORTHERN AND SOUTHWESTERN NEW JERSEY. A FEW OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY GENERATE LARGE HAIL....


i live in northampton county :nervous: one of the bays in the garage is open, since the porsche is getting fixed, but i think its too small for my car to get in, unless we move the touareg over. i really don't want hail damage on my car.

I can see the top of a mountian less than 2 miles from where I am and there's been a pretty constant stream of lightning hitting the top of it for about 2 hours now. :irock:

PUt the tourag thing outside and let the lightning come to that, it should attract most of the lightning for about 5 miles.

Sorry, I don't like those and think it would be better used for a lightning rod.

i took a pic, gotta wait to upload it. it was like a hurricane when it first hit.

past 45mins here have been pretty clear of rain and what not. still pretty cloudy, but we've gone from rain, to cloud, to blue skies quite a few times today.
