I have a hole in my exaust pipe. My poor integra sounds like a ricer.

But I can't afford a new exaust. Can just putting some of that exaust pipe wrap stuff help till I can afford to overhaul the whole exaust or is it just a waste?

 

When a hole started appearing in my exhaust, I got one of those patch kits that uses putty and metal mesh patches. I completely covered the hole, let it dry...5 days later it fell off.

Now its bigger (and louder) than ever.

 

I dont see why cant you try it. It'll set you back like $15. Try to sand some if not most of the rust off first...

 

Just a word of advice for all you non truck drivers out there. Offroading is NOT for your Honda/Acura. h:

My header is pretty scrapped up, some of the rock guards in the front were knocked loose... and I think it's only one hole in my exaust right now. Oddly it's on the top of the pipe... so whatever I bottomed out on like 10 times... must have knocked loose some rust. I think I"m gunna get some of that wrap stuff and hope it helps quiet it down for now.

 

Thermal tape, bishes.

I doubt that will be anything but temporary, just have it welded, shouldn't cost you much.
