I dont get what that reserve is..

I know its a minimum of what the seller wants, but if you bid less does that mean you still have to pay the reserve amount?

The reserve is the minimum the buyer will allow a product to be sold at.

No, it's up to the discretion of the seller. And especially he/she put a reserve, it's more than likely your bid will be rejected.
