manual launches better than auto? Interesting..........I guess you should really tell MSP, Titan, Virtual Works, Sound Performance, Power House Racing, and Boost Logic your info because obviously they are mistaken then. Have you ever even been to the supra meets in Vegas or Texas? The only time a manual car ever won the unlimited class was 2 years ago in Texas when Titan ran a 8.9 before they switched to an auto, and with their auto so far their best run has been about an 8.4............also all the good clutches like the RPS C/C cost about 3000 dollars, a fully rebuilt auto transmission from SP or BL costs about the same, so its really a tradeoff. You my friend have been sorely misinformed......so far there has only been 1 really good launcher with a 6speed, Ryan Woon with his street driven 6speed got a 1.4 60' time but that is about as good as it gets for the 6speed........SW has pulled a few 1.5s in his time but Ryan is the only one who is pretty consistant.

Everything Josh said in the above post is 100% correct. Granted the 6 speeds dont need an rps c/c or a tilton but still it gets expensive no matter what route you take.
And as for the ebay ad being high. I believe that particular one was a scam as there have been hundreds of scams with supras on ebay recently and therefore many supra owners are automatically bidding high so nobody gets screwed or having the scam pulled off of ebay.

Just seems every supra is a 10 second supra. It's like there's this barrier that can't be crossed. If it's a 400hp or 1000hp supra... it's still 10seconds.

Sure, less complex setups have made more horsepower, but horsepower obviously wasn't the point here.
