HB31 passed but failed in the state senate. We could be saving 2 million by keeping plate prices the same and dropping back to a single, rear plate. Which means the revenue generated by having something to aim a laser at on the front of your vehicle is higher than 2 million.
Long story short, we're probably always going to have front plates. It makes me sad.

Massachusetts requires a front plate IF you have the red-and-blue-on-white plates ("Spirit of America")..IOW, if you were issued two plates, you must use both of them. If you have the green-on-white plates, you only got one, and that goes in the rear.
