So I go to take off and get some photos to finish up a series I have been working on. Jump in the car and take off and get to the corner when my input shaft decides to take a shit on me.

So I push the car down the hill and park in front of the house. I figure it was a matter of time and I just have to much direct power for a stock tranny. So I figure I rip out the tranny and rebuild it...no big deal really.

Then the mail comes and I get a letter from the HOA here telling me that I can't have an unregistered vehicle in my driveway.....WTF?? So I call them and try to tell them it is an OHV and does not have to have tags on it because it doesn't drive on the streets (much). Turns out they still don't like that idea and that it needs to be registered with current tags on it. So I got pissed and hung up on the lady.

All this happening while I am trying to sell a house in Cali and buy a house up here. So I have about 30 days to figure out what to do with the Jeep situation =/ I am thinking I will take a plate off the Wagon and put it on the front of the Jeep in a day or so since the tags are good on those until August and I should be able to be gone by that time.

Just gonna buy a place here in Portland....even though I hate Oregon I need to buy a place since it would be smarter to do since I am going to be stuck here for a while.

 

One of my bosses is going over to Iraq as a Commander and work bought us free lunch.

I also got offered a full time posisition after only being with the company for less than 3 weeks.

Friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer in his arm, spine, stomache, pelvis and a few other places.
