Well, as if it's not bad enough my JR high-flow cat decides to break apart inside and clog my exhaust system, now my car is beginning to overheat when sitting too long

This GSR swap is literally becoming a nightmare and a HUGE drain on my wallet - more than I can afford. Every week I'm buying something else to fix and replace.

However, I'll probably never be able to sell it because of the modifications, the motor swap, and with the problems beginning to surface. I'll be stuck with this damn thing for a looooong time until I can afford something better. My dreams of owning an early-mid 90's NSX are quickly fading into just that, dreams.

what's wrong? like how is the GSR swap becoming a nightmare...

 

Well...after the swap, i discovered my shocks blew out from the way the car was sitting during the summer due waiting for a trans swap as well. Then my shifter rattles because the GSR trans lacked the stablizer that goes into the lower bushing. Then the catalytic converter is destroyed and rattling, and clogging, so now i lose power in VTEC and the car sounds horrible loud and chokes. Then today it started overheating just DAYS after I installed a new thermostat.

Then the car needs a new hood also.

 

JR = Random Tech = CRAP

 

Actually, its a carsound because it matches the same design as the direct fit from carsound. I've had a random tech before, I know what it looks like.

 

damn Lawrence that sucks. Once you get all this straightened out you will be loving it man trust me

 

Thats why no swap on my daily driver. And even if I did one its going to the pros who know what to do. Hope things work out for you.
