Default Computer problem - closing HA.net many windows pop up,

I don't know what's going on with my computer. For about the past 2 months whenever I close the last window with HA.net on it I get a TON of Windows opening up that was the last window I just closed.

I'm running Windows XP HE. All the updates have been done to my computer. I'm running a 1.8GHZ motherboard with 1.0G Ram

Anyone else know what is happening?

just goto download.com and look for spyboy. to be safe, i use spybot and ad-aware. i've found that each one catches things that the other doesn't. basically, so you can never be too safe, and it doesn't hurt to run a couple checks now and then.

Classic spyware. Spyware is almost like a legal, allowed virus.

Spybot and Ad-Aware will help take care of it.

By the way I forgot I had Spybot, downloading Adware now. Looks like the Spybot worked.

the best way to prevent spy and ad ware is to NOT USE IE. its rediculous how insecure that browser is. if you disable active-x, you'll probably be fine, but you'll disable a lot of 3rd party plugins like flash and real player.

use mozilla firefox or opera.. i've been using opera for about a year, and haven't gotten a single piece of spyware from it since. built in pop up blockers, too.

Spoke too soon. This was the next to last browser to close and it happened again.
