Will MS make it 6 in a row? (First driver to do so.)
Will BAR Honda become the first team other than Ferrari to win. Honda is rumored to have one of the most powerful engines. Button has already proven he can drive the wheels of the car.
Tires tires tires - Bridgestone has problems on the first lap with their current tires. Given the layout of Monaco and passing being impossible it is key to get in front and stay there.
Williams - will JPM punt someone off? Rumors have it that Ralf is being sent packing, will him and JPM get together?
McLaren - a multimillion dollar new technology center was unveiled, will they do anything worthwhile or will they whither away? DC already wants a 3rd car like BAR, Minardi, etc get for the free practice. Funny it seems given they were one of the top teams last year. DC is off to Jaguar in 2005, seems a big step backwards to me. But who knows he may revive that team.
Renault - amazing launch mechanism they have where the rpm is pre selected. Something that could be key to the success at Monaco.
This thread will be updated with timing and any current news.

Free 1:
MS set fast time for the day. BAR did incredibly well with Sato and Button coming in 2nd and 3rd with times of 1'17"279 and 1'17"339 respectively. BAR test driver Davidson did well too, coming in at 7th for the morning session with a time of 1'17"791.
Free 2:
MS again set a blindingly fast time in the 1'14" range, BAR did very well in the session with Button pulling out his fastest lap of the day at 1'15"520 to land up in 6th and Sato with 1'15"664 to land up in 7th. Test driver Davidson almost threw MS off the top of the time chart but couldn't quite get the perfect second and third sector and ended up 2nd with a time of 1'15"141.

Looks like Ferrari's stronghold is fading a bit. Trulli ran in the 1'13" the first driver to do so. Sato would have had pole in the BAR except for a little bobble at the end of the tunnel. Button starts from the front row in his BAR. Note: Ralf will lose 10 spots because of an engine change on his car.
Gonna be a very interesting race with the Renaults and Honda holding the top 3 spots.
