Rock crawling is cool and all, but then I think about it and most of the stuff those things crawl over can be walked up by a person with relatively little effort.

 

i saw a rock climbing game at E3
forgot what it was called but i thought of nightshade

Mike: It wouldn't be as much fun if you just walked up it. Its like drag racing or road course...sure you could walk the tracks but wheres the challenge?

 

Generally speaking in those other venues the automobiles are capable of traversing the course faster than a human on foot would be able to.

 

*sigh* Get out of my thread already since the point of this type of contest is for the driver to run his rig through the course faster than the others as well as staying in the marked area..it is harder than you think and takes more skill than you could imagine.

That said then grow up already and realize that sport is sport there doesn't have to be logic to it.

 

that looks like lots of fun, so do you guys race up hills or something or do you just see where your rock crawler could go??

i would hate to be the chick and have the thing tip over right over that pointy rock. being there is no protection where the "door" is. h:

 

Actually they did that like 5 times with no rollover the guy above is actually stopping it from a full roll.

After those shots were taken we were all standing around and he went up higher with his spotter and ended up doing two full rolls in one move. They were laughing so hard we could hre them at the bottom and some of their friends rolled em back over and they drove back off the hill
