Seriously though my buddy just bought a 1st gen and I took it out to the hills and ran it around a bit. For a stock vehicle I was very impressed with it, but in all honesty I would never buy one no matter ho they dressed it up.

Plus the actual coupe no doubt makes the chassis stiffer. The hardtop isn't really part of the structure.
But the point is pretty much moot since Mazda only made 1000 coupes and they were all rhd.
