for autocad, there's some option in the print menu/dialogue box that lets you save your .dwg as a .pdf file. i did it on accident once, and thought it was cool

It's not called Acrobat Reader...It's called Acrobat Professional. Actually what you need is called Distiller. It is always included with Acrobat Proffesional, but is also available seperately. It shows up as a printer in every application.

If you want...send me the files and I can have them converted in a few seconds.

www.openoffice.org

Install that. Open your MS Office files in Open Office, File > Save as PDF. That's it, badd-a boom.

It's free and easy. Plus you don't need MS office anymore... you can still use MS office just like always, it doesn't mess with it... but if you wanted to use something else you can.

I just went to update from Open Office 1.1.0 to 1.1.1 and durring the installation I noticed that there was an option to add the ability to import AutoCAD stuff.

I don't have any autocad stuff so I can't try it... but give it a go. Worst that happens is it doesn't work.
