As far as i knew, kogal, was ko(small) gal(girl), but i know ko also means high like koko(highschool) and i guess that makes more sense :dunno: the literal translation for ganguro is gan(slang for very) and guro(a variation of kuroi, meaning black). anyway, mayonaise is on the money, just adding my $.02
