Personally.... unless it was going to take off upwards of a whole second... I wouldn't bother. I don't really see the point of that much time and money for just a tiny gain.

For instance my 2000 Civic Si weighs around 2500lbs now and my 1991 Civic Si weighs 2100lbs. The difference of 400lbs is amazing at an autocross. I'm 2 seconds faster in my 1991 Civic Si, but the car only has about 100hp (flywheel) compared to my 00 Civic Si which is around 170hp (flywheel).

Oh definetly, if I had to buy it I really wouldn't be all that enthused about tenths of a second, however shaving down weight is one of the mods to a racecar (because most of the stuff kinda takes the daily drivability away) you can do with a limited budget(little to no money required) and still actually feel the difference between a stock car and the one you gutted (my pops has a stock EJ DX I can drive if I wanna feel the difference).
:reechy: it's definetly not for anyone looking to enjoy the car in traffic or commute or anywhere else except a racetrack.
and on a side note, some race teams kill for tenths of a second, so
