Scoliosis- anyone have it?
My sister (16) just got her x-rays back... and well... she's got scolioisis... anyone have it or know anyone that does? any info

i have a good freind that ahs it bad it's curvature of the spine if its really bad they will have to go in and do surgery to correct it which is said to be a long recovery otehrwise she should be find she will prolly jsut have back trouble when she gets older

yes...you cant see it (cuz im a girl and my boobs cover it) its not a cosmetic problem at all really but its harder to exert yourself physically due to the sterum pressing the heart onto the lungs..its a stupid birth defect really, more annoying than anything
they said hers is 9 degrees right now.... which isnt bad... and also said its 13+ degrees when they start to worry. ? she has been complaining about her back hurting for awhile... and is now going to get some therapy.
