Hope this is not a repost.
Windows Watch
Cliff notes:
Dual-core CPU running at 4-6 GHz
min. 2GB RAM
up to 1TB of disk
1Gb enet
802.11g
and a graphics processor 3x faster than anything on the market
today.
Looks like the compaq's i played on over the weekend with the AMD 64 bit processor are gonna be dog shit!

That's plain silly. Those, thankfully, wont be the min sys requirements... but damn...
Home users really don't need that kind of processing power or storage. I think Microsoft is blowing wind up people's asses to make their overdue OS seem more impressive.
:chuckles: and I like how they're starting to openly codename their features like Apple.
Oh well... I welcome the new DRM that Windows will have on it... it will hopefully cause a mass exodus to other platforms amongst the computer knowledgeable.

Yea they did. What i think it by the time that the actaully release this OS, things will be just under those specs, so all the top of the line stuff will be that. I mean who every thought people would have 1 or 2 gigs of ram, and 500 gigs of HD storage? Files keep getting bigger, and processors keep getting faster.
