today in 1862 france got 
wned: by a small, poorly armed militia estimated at 4,500 men and were able to stop and defeat a well outfitted French army of 6,500 soldiers, which stopped the invasion of the country.
but a year later mexico gotwned: by france and was overrun by napoleons relative archduke maximilian of austria and 30,000 soldiers!!
but 3 years after that france gotwned: once again by mexico with the help of the U.S. and we lived happily ever after!! NOT
so basically today is an excuse for us mexican's to get extremely drunk and start howling like hyenas!!h:
