Default got an insurance quote for a 2001 s2000..

$1077/year full coverage.. $1059/year for a 2000. will vary slightly given milage, etc.

i think it's realistic to find a 2001 for under $20k..

hmmmm.. am i e-dreaming? i have absolutely no need for a new car as the integra is still running great at ~145k miles (knock on wood). i also need to pick up a nice engagement ring. :eek3:

priorities.. h:

I'd hold out for an '02. You're far enough north that you'll be doing a lot of top-up driving and the plastic rear window on the '00-'01 is gross.

btw....of course you don't need a new car. most people don't (need vs. want)

but you gotta treat yourself to something nice, fun, and impractical every now and then life is short man!

good point, rich.

we may go test drive a few on sat, if we find used ones at any local dealers. and yeah, also a good point on the '02, mike.

this is the worst time to buy one of those things anyway, seeing as the great weather has just begun, so it makes sense to wait.

we shall see..
