Ok, here's the deal. I have to get my vette painted after I get done with the repairs. I am definitely getting a wide stripe flanked by a pinstripe on each side.

I am thinking of this stripe. (This is an old photoshop I did right after I got my car. I decided then not to paint the car as it didn't really need it. Now that it does, I am thinking about this again. )

It is a Baldwin-style stripe from the old Baldwin Motion vettes. The stripe folds over the front like a Grand Sport, but it also wraps the rear so that the rear is the color of the stripe.





What do you think?

 

It like the shape of the stripe, but I have this unexplainable urge to go to McDonald's...

 

I'd go for it AND the GS hash marks in the same color. :thumbup:

 

With the stripe, I won't be doing the hash marks.
