If I remember right Bicentennial Man was based on the book but this one seems like they are just using the name and basing the movie loosely off of Millenium.

Yeah, I'm pissed off about this. Both Bicentennial Man and I, Robot are based off Isaac Asimov novels (my favorite author). Bicentennial man was relatively true to the book, but when I watched it, it made no mention in the credits of any relation to an Asimov novel.

I. Robot looks like it has absolutely nothing to do with the novel.

Actually Bicentennial Man did give credit to Asimov in the credits. It stated that it was based off of Asimovs book.

I finally saw the trailer a few weeks ago.

I'll watch it, but only because robots are freakin' awesome.
