i have a set of K2 backyard bobs....

i like em but i havent rode in a couple of years...

K2's are nice cuz they have the dropped heel so your skate fits more like a shoe... IMO that helps with comfort, control, and gettin a good feel for a land or a grind.

i got mine at Kliens All sport.... i dont know if that is a national chain or a northeast thing or waht..... backyard bobs have been discontinued but K2's keep a similar design through all of their skates... soft boot as opposed to hard plastic and dropped heel.... some people dont like the dropped heel and say it is awkward but like i said before, it fits more like a shoe and less like a skate and IMO gives you a better feel and more control.

my skating improved 10 fold when i switched to K2's

i'd have to bet that if you check www.k2.com and go to their inline site, you can locate a dealer or at least have a look at their products...
