I have used scottrade, they are fine........nothing to great, but I haven't had any issues with them either.

Same here $7 trades, no complaints yet. Been using em for 4 yrs.

Used Ameritrade for a while. They started with the first couple of trades for free and then $8.00 a trade. For the standard acct. pretty straight forward.
