yeah, but that doesn't really disable it, from what i hear. i know for sure that it does leave certain systems active. putting it into dyno mode disables everything.

however, i'm not surprised that there are malfunction messages when that stuff is shut off. what does concern me though is i wonder if the ECU logs them. one day a tech will check the logs and say... "hmm, this guy had it in dyno mode and tach'ed it out like 30 times in the span of an hour.. hmm.. warranty voided!" hehe

The whole point is that you baited the guy into driving like an idiot. Maybe you know the limits of your car, but you willfully got into a speed contest with the guy in the Mercedes that resulted in a crash. Sure he could have decided to be the calmer head and not tail you after you sped up. The point I'm making is you responded to his gestures when you could have just kept on driving.

wow... you really aren't concerned

you seem like a brand Nazi, you can respect a car for the car you look at it as a manufature lable

did you ever think
[ highspeeds + concreat pillar + parts flying off = bodily injury or death ]
you may not like the cars... but you should still show compasion to a fellow man, and driver

thats just my opinion

Wow, I've NEVER been called a "brand nazi", you shouldn't say that ppl around here get all offended about such things.

Mr. fat booty, honestly in retrospect I should have ignored the guy. In my defense I was not the baiter. I simple downshifted to go around the car and the guy was right next to me reving up his engine and acting all grand turismo. I simply kept going and he followed. I mean the guy was two lanes over and came over to play in my lane. He was asking for trouble and he got it. I'm no street racer like I tried to convey in my first sentence. I don't go out looking to race. I think I could have handled it differently but nobody had a gun to this guy's head telling him to follow me into a turn. I do see your point and it is well taken, cars are deadly and should be treated as such.

I'm not offended at all, I think Hondas/Acuras are great cars I wouldn't ever own anything else unless i buy a truck and only because they don't make one yet. Sorry if you like Benz cars and nobody's slamming you for liking them. Good for you if you have one or like them or whatever.

Hey reno96teg, I was kinda joking about the fluid thing. I had a couple on MB's I had to perform used car safety's on and thought it was funny the tranny fluid dipstick and p/s pump dipstick both said dealer inspection only or something like that on them. I hear they are good cars or whatever but It's not my bag. I like japanese

Look at it another way, Would he have gotten out to check on me? I think not. I know he wasn't killed or anything. He had started to move after it hit the barrier and was trying to get out of the way of cars behind him. I see your point though. Would you have really stopped? what if he was sore and decided to shoot me or something? It wasn't on a track or anything we were in the streets.
