Default What do you guys/gals think of this S4?

I can pick it up for 17.5K and was wondering if an Audi dealership did it a good once over and OK'd it should the miles really be an issue?

auto... neh, i drove a 6-speed and i wasn't all that impressed, an auto would be a waste.. but are you sure you want to buy a high-mileage obsolete volkswagen that's off its factory warranty?

What's so special about it? It's stock. And automatic. And it's an Ebay thread so :closed:

EDIT: Why'd the seller put no rust? Audi's don't rot.

For one its an Auto, second its out of warranty and three they are a bitch to work on. My roomate had a Imola S4 and it was quick all you need to do is chip it and put exhaust and you are good to go.

Overall I would pass only cause its an auto and its really just a hyped up VW

Without looking at the specifics or all of that kind of stuff, I'll just say one thing.

I can't ever bring myself to buy a "last years verison" type of a car. There is a new S4 rolling around, so say you go and spend 20k on that older version because it's a "good deal", bottom line is you still have an old and inferior car compared to the new one.

I know, that's lame...

Now, more what you want to hear - I love S4's, any and all. =]

At least most of the bugs would probably be fixed rather than the 1st year model of the gen.

I like the S4 a lot, but if I were to buy one, I would choose the 6 speed as opposed to the automatic. In every other aspect, though, I like them a lot.
