Default now that's a bit odd

strange thing happened today. i checked the balance on my checking account and there was a $7600 deposit made today and i have no idea where it came from.

Don't spend it. They screw you. Just put it in an account with a decent APR.

that happened to my friend once. she got a $7000 deposit and a few days later the bank took it back out since it was a mistake. if she had taken it out, she would have had to pay it all back (which would have been bad if she spent it).

i would suggest calling the bank and telling them something's wrong.

get it out and put it in a long term cd, tell the bank they can have it when its up :chuckles:
