Well, I also have unlimited mobile to mobile minutes, and most if not all the people I know have the same carrier, so bascially we're talking to each other for free...

Nextel for me and Jen.

$110 / month all taxes, fees, and insurance on phones included

450 anytime minutes per phone per month
unlimited walkie
free nights and weekends starting a 9pm

We basically only use the walkie features cause the majority of our friends have it
other than that the cell minutes we've never gone over

We used to have AT&T and it sucked, always went over minutes and their customer service blew chunks.

I'm surprised some of you think Nextel doesn't have good coverage. In my area Nextel is the only one that has good service. Some providers aren't even legally allowed to sell service in our area cause its considered theft, because there is no service. LOL

T-Mobile!!
600 Anytime (free Tmobile-Tmobile minutes)
Free nights and weekends
50 free text messages
Unlimited text messaging ($10extra)
$58.49/month (the plan is $49.99)

excellent service and customer service. I've never ever had a problem at all with them, and wont ever switch unless they make some drastic changes to their prices or start tearing down towers. I  T-Mobile.

For all the Verizon people...

Do you guys have problems with dropped calls? A friend of mine had Verizon and claimed he always had dropped calls.

Cingular people:
Any of you have the GSM phones? I'm thinking about getting one. How are they. Is GSM better than TDMA and the likes?

Thanks!!

Never had a TDMA phone, I've had GSM all the way. Don't know if TDMA has it, but what I like about GSM is the SIM card which is a chip that holds all of your phone numbers. So if you decide to switch phones, just put the SIM card in the new phone and off you go. Not sure how Cingular's coverage is in your area, but I like it here in Cali.

Nextel, should have gone with Verizon...

Plan is $49.99 (plus insurance, minus discount) still comes out about $70 after taxes...

I would tell anyone to get Verizon.
