I don't understand why people can't just take it to the track.

yea, first of all, saying that thunderbird is "american muscle" is like calling your slow ass car a japanese touring car champion. if you say you beat down some american muscle, you better have beat down a v8stang, v8 firebird, or v8 camaro at the least, which you have no chance at doing.

second of all, street racing is bad, and i hope your sh1tty thread gets locked. which it will

ya i know. we know that street very well, it's right by my work. never people walkin around, specially at 2am. i didn't really want to street race, but he had jus got that car, and he was talkin smack. so i agreed, 1/4 mile only. we were very safe about it, we actually jus came from the same spot we were racing. we jus went up to the gas station and turned around for the light. there was alot of traffic for some reason....but only 1 car going our way.

i know street racing is lame though. he says now he wants to race me at the track when i go next month. i told him to learn how to drive first. lol.

on another note....reverse always does that shit to meh. think my clutch is almost gone from dem launches w/ 110k on the clutch. :eee:

mayb you couldnt sense the sarcasm.

oh and the thunderbird 4.6L v8 = same as the camaro's 305 slug, and mustanks 4.6L hunk of shit. i in no way think my car is comparable to those. Hell my other car IS a camaro. with a 350. it should be runnin low 13's now, and i still don't consider it fast.

so thnx for the flame, and ya i hope it gets locked too, as it should be.
