To not take disciplinary action would set a precedent that would endanger the future of the site IMHO.

It is the establishment and enforcement of a code of conduct -nee TOS- that makes this site what it is.

With regards to "smokedaddy", he committed numerous infractions against the TOS under that name and many others, thus it is our policy to immediately ban new screennames once they're confirmed to have originated from a banned user.
