Well if it helps any its for a negative scanner and I can attach the odd end to the scanner so basically a 25 pin will do.

I did find a 25 pin card in my collection of stuff but not sure what its for because it has no PCI or AGP slide on it but it has a ribbon out the back side...kind of an odd little thing really.

my camera sucks, so this is about as good as I can do.

the port is about 1.25" across and exactly 1/10" tall. 50 pin connection.

Yeah thats the same thing I bought thinking it was the right one.

Maybe I will just go on the search for an adapter of some kind if they make them and they work...I dunno I hate how fast technology changes sometimes

sorry for the stupid question but can you identify what kind of cable I have because they all look the same to me when I am looking at the adapters on that site
