Fastest car with a NA D16 engine?
RD Racing has built some truly insane NA D-series, strokers beyond 2.0L displacement, impossible CRs, rediculous rev-limits. Granted these are full-race applications, but still, it is impressive.
Mike Kojima's last book, Honda/Acura Engine Performance went into a great amount of detail on RD stroker D motors. Good reading.

Also, Jeremy Lookosky also runs a R&D built motor... a high-comp 2600cc (!) H22, based off a third-gen Prelude block. :eek3: His best was 10.68 @ 129.8mph.
Very impressive work...

Alright that's what I thought.
R&D are the guys who tuned my car before the NHRA event back in October. Darin managed to tune my car 271hp/221ftlbs despite my motor running on three cylinders (or maybe even two) at the time. They do know their stuff and they have a cool CNC port process for cylinder heads.
