Is it normal to refer to your gf/bf as just "friend"?
Need some help here. Is it normal to refer to your boyfriend or girlfriend as just "friend" (instead of specifically saying "boyfriend" or "girlfriend") when talking about him/her to others? For instance, saying, "I have to call my friend" (when she actually means bf). Or "I went out with my friend last night" (again "friend" = bf). Has anyone even ever done that ACCIDENTALLY, as a slip of the tongue? Or is this a sign your significant other is creeping around on you, or at least wants to. I'm trying to be open-minded here, but it seems very weird to me. Any opinions?

that is 100% horsesh!t. they only reason she say's "friend" is to put out the image that she isn't with anyone, that she's single and available.
i'd really take a look at who she's hanging out with and put the beat down where needed because she's diggin someone else.
