hell yeh, ebay is no fun if you just bid normal. all the fun is in sniping and pissing people off. you need to figure out how much you are willing to pay for hte item. open two windows of that item you want. one is to watch the time. in the second one type in your bid amount and click bid now, then type in your screen name and password...DO NOT CLICK OK YET. watch the time closely and at 20 seconds left on the clock, teake a sec and go to second page you openned and click the bid now button under your password. youll most likely win if your bid was high enough to outbid any other snipers. oh...and please don't bid more than once. snipe and that is all. otherwise you just get the price high too quick. good luck next time.

 

course, its the only way to win auctions.. i don't understand it when people bid several days before the end of the auction. makes no sense, unless they're going on a trip or something.

there are also programs that'll do it for you. synchronize with ebay and bid at the last second possible.. i do disapprove of those

 

i always bid in the last 10 seconds of the auction.

you'd be a fool to bid any other time.

 

Whaddya call a user that outbids you, retracts that bid, and then attempts to outbid you at the last second + ¢.01? I've had this happen to me a few times but won both auctions
