The "fastest production truck" statement is true. Only because SVT's budget was sucked dry by the GT. No new SVT products for a year or maybe longer.

I see no reason they should be making huge trucks that can go 150+ mph. thats just really deadly...

How is it any more deadlier than a regular Viper? Last time I checked 150MPH is still the same 150MPH in any other car. Those trucks handle better than half of the autos on this board, so don't go there :nono:

If i were to get hit by a car going 150 mph, i would rather be hit by a viper than that truck. I did not say anything about the cars on this board

OIC I thought you meant dangerous for the driver of said truck, not anyone on the other end of a possible crash. You're right, my bad. Carry on.

Also, I'd much rather have a factory supercharged truck than the SRT, that's just me though.

The SRT-10 is certified in the Guiness Book of World Records as the fastest production pickup truck, i.e. highest recorded top speed.

I have this theory about why the domestic companies are building muscle trucks: they don't have anything else that's a heavy body-on-frame chassis with a live rear axle and the aerodynamics of a brick. Even the new Mustang is a unibody.
